Second work! (We critiqued 2 paintings at the same time.) This process for this one was a lot more direct and a lot faster (both due to intent and also alotted time), but it was mostly exploratory and experimental after the huge labor of my previous painting. The picture’s not quite as good as it was still wet at the time, so hopefully I can get a better picture another day.

Finally had crit and am now posting my first large-scale painting of the quarter!
Not a complete success but a lot of work and love when into it so I’m in a very happy place with it. I’ll come back to work on it again eventually, I’m sure, but not ‘til much later.
I forgot to take a picture of myself next to it for size reference but it’s almost as big as I am :o
