it’s been so long since i’ve actually drawn anything—to the point where i freeze up before my pencil touches the page

which is really unfortunate as i’ve planned one of my final projects to include ~30 illustrations

why do i get the most motivation to draw when i have exams that have nothing to do with drawing

speaking of books (well, speaking of books from 12+ hours ago), look what just came in the mail for me today :D

it’s absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to read it. I’ll do another post in the near future about other art resource books I’ve recently (and not so recently) acquired.

I have mixed feelings about this…

I definitely think its more versatile, and is more attractive in both print and web design (heck, working at a print shop, I’ve seen the old logo get messed up so much, so this new one would be a breath of fresh air), but there’s just something about being part of a school system that requires a design that showcases a bit more history. (Although, some of the schools aren’t that old.) The new logo starts to feel more…corporate? than anything else…

I don’t know, I gotta sleep on this one.
